Race for Brain Aneurysm Awareness Fundraiser | Inspired by my dear friend, Jimmy
On July 1st, 2021, Jimmy - a close friend and student of mine - was admitted to the ICU after suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm. Although he had three successful surgeries (the last of which successfully stopped the bleeding in his brain) and ultimately survived, he incurred a significant amount of brain damage from the incident. The extent to which he will be able to recover is still unknown.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to support the incredible initiatives of the Brain Aneurysm Foundation (namely, their initiatives regarding brain aneurysm awareness). As well, by completing two half marathons, two half ironman triathlons, and a race up Cypress mountain, I hope to honour Jimmy’s extraordinary work ethic on the tennis court. To read more about Jimmy’s aneurysm, this fundraiser’s accompanying long distance cycling, and why I selected the Brain Aneurysm Foundation of Canada for this fundraiser, you can copy and paste the link below into your browser.

All donations to this fundraiser will aid in the effort of making a positive impact on the lives of those affected by this condition. Thank you to those of you that took the time to read about Jimmy and about how collectively, we can contribute to a cause that can leave a lasting impact on those around us. To those of you that want to donate - thank you for your generosity and kindness.
