Welcome to My Personal Page
I am participating in Running Against Ruptures on June 24, 2018.
Dear family & friends,
Adis and I just registered as participants in the Brain Aneurysm Foundation's Running Against Ruptures.
A close friend of mine, a 29-year old mother of three beautiful children, was diagnosed in 2017 with a brain aneurysm. To date, she has suffered 3 strokes and multiple transient ischemic attacks, but nothing is stopping her from fighting and raising awareness.
Running Against Ruptures raises critically needed funds to support the Brain Aneurysm Foundation's mission to reduce deaths and disability from brain aneurysms - which affect one in 50 people of all ages - through awareness, education, support, advocacy and research. If it wasn't for Toronto's great team of medical professionals, Melissa would not be alive today.
That's why I will be walking - for Melissa, for all aneurysm survivors, and for those who have lost loved ones to this silent killer.
For more information about the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, please visit their website - https://www.bafound.org/
Running Against Ruptures takes place on Sunday, June 24, 2018, but our race starts today -- the race toward our $250 fundraising goal!
Please support us by making a contribution to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. Making a donation is quick and easy. Your tax-deductible gift makes a difference. Whatever you can give will help; it all adds up!
Lots of love,
Adis & Steph
