My family and I are participating in the Running Against Ruptures on June 24, 2018.

I am participating in Running Against Ruptures on June 24, 2018. This is the fourth year for this event and I have participated each year. I suffered a brain aneurysm in 2009. I was a primary teacher and literacy coach and was struck by an aneurysm at the end of the day in my classroom. I am a survivor thriver but was not able to return to my love of teaching. I am an advocate for early detection and brain aneurysm research. I focus on support for patient's and family members. I also speak to various organizations about my experience in order to provide awareness of this serious injury. It was a long road back but I am one of the lucky ones! Thanks to London Health Science and the team for their care.

Please donate to my team and help me continue to raise dollars for brain aneurysm early detection and research. I also hope to see you on June 24, 2018 in London, Ontario.

Thank you for your support!
