5th Annual Running Against Ruptures

Team Mackenzie

We are participating in Running Against Ruptures on June 23, 2019.

The sudden and tragic passing of our dad, Bob Wood, from a brain aneurysm is what motivated us to begin this event in 2015. However, it is the families of those who have passed, the survivors and the medical professionals we have met along the way who keep this event running. Brain aneurysms, affect people of all ages in many different ways…. our dad’s story is only one!  In light and memory of others who have passed and all the survivors out there, we are hoping this event brings awareness and hope to all those who are affected by aneurysm’s and their families as well as some fun morning exercise. Hope to see you all there!

OUR MISSION: To promote early detection of brain aneurysms by providing knowledge and raising awareness of the signs, symptoms and risk factors. Work with the medical communities to provide support networks for patients and families, as well as to further research that will improve patient outcomes and save lives.
